Sweet quark casserole as a delicious childhood memory

Quark casserole, which simply reminds of porridge, rice pudding, cherries. All these things that you have loved as a child, because they cause such a warm, comfortable feeling in the stomach. This is food for the soul and real happiness food. Just right for the current transition between winter and spring. If you feel like spring, but it is often just cold and grubby. The quark casserole then tastes lukewarm best and is complemented by sweet-sour clementines with syrup. So delicious!

Quark casserole - made fast and delicious

The quark casserole is easy to prepare. In addition to lean quark you only need eggs, sugar, sour cream and some flour. And the clementines are also peeled clean, filleted and then allowed to bathe in a sugar syrup with vanilla and cinnamon.Carefully fillet clementines with a sharp knife.


Preheat the oven to 175 ° C top and bottom heat and brush a baking tin about 20 x 30 cm in size with soft butter.


Separate the eggs. Beat egg white with a pinch of salt until stiff and set aside. Beat yolks with the sugar until creamy. Stir in the sour cream thoroughly. Finally, gently stir in the quark along with the flour until a smooth mass is formed. Carefully fold in the egg whites by hand with a spatula.
