Crunchy potato buns (Thermomix-Thursday)
It's high time for a Thermomix Thursday and the first issue of the new year. And again we dedicate ourselves to a Thermomix cookbook of one of our fellow campaigners. The theme is this week: Bread & Roll . And I chose the uncomplicated recipe for crispy potato buns .
Bread & Rolls with the Thermomix
The cookbook Bread & Roll with the Thermomix * comes from the lovely Bibi from Kleine & fein delicacies. Recipe for Crispy Potato Rolls
I chose the Potato Rolls from page 80 here. I love potato buns and have never actually baked them myself before. They are usually slightly larger than normal bread rolls, a bit more rustic in appearance and wonderfully crispy. For this they remain juicy and fresh for a long time due to the contained potatoes. The recipe I have slightly modified for my taste from the original version and it is really easy! You only need a few ingredients that are quickly stirred together, have to go a bit and then baked super fast. You can prepare the Kartoffelbrötchen so wonderful for breakfast on the weekend. The first walk can be done in the fridge overnight without any problem.
Crunchy Potato Rolls (Thermomix Recipe)
- 250 g boiled potatoes from the previous day
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 20 g fresh Yeast
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 500 g of flour (type 550)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Flour for the desktop
Preheat the oven to 175 ° C top and bottom heat at the end of the walk. Bake the rolls on the middle rack in a preheated oven until golden brown and crispy for about 25-30 minutes. Allow to cool on a wire rack, then serve freshly.
The bread rolls can also be frozen well after baking and bake at 150 ° C hot air with a little water sprinkled crispy.
